Double Choc Avocado Protein Mousse

Rich, creamy and deeply chocolatey, this easy protein mousse turns avocado and raw cacao into a satisfying PCOS/PMOS-friendly dessert. It combines plant-based protein, nourishing fats and fibre to make a sweet treat that feels a little more balanced and satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 scoop Double Chocolate FloFit Protein Powder
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • 1–2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk, or milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or monk fruit sweetener, optional
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt

Optional add-ins:

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

    * Serves 2

Instructions:

  1. Cut the avocado in half, remove the stone and scoop the flesh into a blender or mixing bowl.
  2. Add the Double Chocolate FloFit Protein Powder, raw cacao powder, almond milk, optional sweetener, vanilla extract and sea salt.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy. Alternatively, whisk thoroughly by hand. Add a little more almond milk as needed to reach your preferred consistency.
  4. Mix through the cinnamon and chia seeds, if using.
  5. Divide the mousse between two bowls or jars.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving.
